I'd like to buy a pair of metallic shoes. What color should I
get?
A.
When
it comes to buying metallic accessories, there are a lot of choices.
Gold and
silver are the most versatile, but you can get as much wear out of a
bronze,
pewter or even bold color metallic depending on your wardrobe. As a rule, gold
is best if you wear a lot of black, brown, green, ivory, etc., while silver's
great if you've got a lot of pink, blues and other light tones. Pewter is nearly
as workable, though copper and colorful metallics may be more difficult. Bright
blue,
orange, etc., may not give as much of wear as a more traditional metallic
neutral.
