Q: What color combinations can I wear to work? Is anything too bold or unacceptable?

A: Most colors will work for work providing that you use a little discretion on what and how much you use in an outfit. Anything really bold or bright should be kept to small doses, like an accent piece of jewelry or a statement shoe or handbag. Softer colors and most primary hues (red, grass green, royal blue) should be acceptable as long as the overall item is also appropriate for office wear. When in doubt, consider trying color in a print, or wait to wear an item until casual Friday. At least then, it could be passed off as intentional low-key effort.
